A co-founder of Knightsbridge, John serves as the Chief Investment Officer. He has over 15 years of investment experience. Prior to the 1998 co-founding of Knightsbridge, John worked at Canterbury Capital Services, Inc. and in the investment department of Santa Barbara Bank and Trust. He earned an MA in finance and banking from Boston University and a BA in economics from the University of California, San Diego. A CFA charter holder, John has served as President of the Orange County Society of Investment Managers (CFA Society of Orange County). He serves on the board of trustees of the South Coast Repertory Theatre.

Chad H. Neault, CFA

Chad manages the firms' research efforts and serves as an analyst. Chad also participates in Knightsbridge's anomaly research efforts. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in industrial engineering and management sciences. Subsequently he worked at Intel Corporation for six years, most recently in strategic planning. Chad received his MBA in finance studying at London Business School and graduating from USC’s Marshall School of Business. Chad is a CFA charter holder.

Dhawal is involved in the firm's 'investment anomaly' and fundamental research as well as trading efforts. Prior to joining Knightsbridge, he was with UBS, Stamford, Connecticut, where he traded and analyzed structured derivatives and stock and index options. Dhawal earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Irvine. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. Dhawal is the author of Essays in Environmental Economics and Policy: Climate Change and Fuel Economy Policy, published by VDM Verlag. He is a Level III CFA candidate.

Miles is involved in the firm’s research efforts. Prior to joining Knightsbridge, he worked in Citigroup’s Capital Markets Operations Strategy & Planning division, serving in both the New York and London offices. Miles graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Dartmouth College where he earned an AB in economics, specializing in finance and industrial organization. He is a Level II CFA candidate.

Teresa oversees the firm’s account management group and serves as the firm’s chief operating officer and the chief compliance officer. Prior to joining Knightsbridge, Teresa served as vice president with fund administration and compliance oversight responsibilities for Pacific Investment Management Company and PIMCO Advisors. Prior to PIMCO Advisors, she directed advisory administration and subsidiary development for Pacific Financial Asset Management Company, and worked as an analyst for Pacific Life. Teresa graduated magna cum laude with a BA in business administration from University of Phoenix.

Relationship Manager, Institutional Marketing
Ray is involved in institutional client service and marketing. Ray has over forty years of experience in the investment management industry. Ray served as Managing Director of Palley-Needelman Asset Management, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO). Ray earned an MA in business economics from the Claremont Graduate School and a BA in history from the University of Southern California. He is currently a member of the Hoag Hospital Foundation Investment Board and the Harbor Area Youth Foundation Investment Committee.

Ivan is involved in portfolio implementation, private client and institutional client service, and private client and institutional marketing. Ivan has seven years of investment industry experience, the last four of which have been with Knightsbridge. Prior to Ivan’s tenure at Knightsbridge, he spent three years at Canterbury Capital Services, Inc. Ivan’s industry experience includes account management, investment management operations, GIPS compliance and performance measurement, portfolio reviews, and client servicing. Ivan received his BA in economics from the University of California, Irvine. He is a Level II CFA candidate.

Accounts Administrator: Private Client Relationships
Lisette is involved in the administration of private client accounts. Prior to joining Knightsbridge, Lisette served as a Senior Sales Assistant and was a key participant in the opening of a local Morgan Stanley office. Lisette also worked in administration at Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch over the prior ten years. Prior to that, Lisette oversaw operations of the Scottsdale Foundation for the Handicapped. Lisette majored in business at the University of New Mexico.

Accounts Administrator: Institutional Client Relationships & Compliance Assistant
Michelle is involved in the administration of institutional client accounts and compliance efforts. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in sociology, where she was a member of the Dean’s List and graduated with Latin Honors. While at UCI, she was a member of Alpha Phi sorority, Associated Students of UCI, and served as a Greek life intern for the dean of students. Since graduation, Michelle has remained actively involved with Alpha Phi as well as the alumni association of UCI.

Gene participates in the firm’s trading efforts. He became a member of the Pacific Stock Exchange on his twenty-first birthday and spent over twenty-five years on the trading floor. For twelve years prior to joining Knightsbridge, he was a floor member of the Pacific Stock Exchange in charge of trading operations for Seidler Companies. Prior to that he was a floor member and trader for Bateman, Eichler, Hill, Richards; Wedbush, Noble and Cook; and Letterman Transaction Services. He became a Registered Specialist in 1971. Additionally, he has served on the Pacific Stock Exchange Arbitration Panel, the Floor Trading Committee, served as Manager of Equity Surveillance, and Chairman of the Allocation Committee (allocation of new issues to specialists).

Michelle is involved in the firm’s portfolio accounting and trading efforts. She previously worked at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), where she was responsible for various aspects of financial report production and verification, and at State Street Corporation, where she worked in various operational capacities. Michelle received her BBA in finance and operations management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she was a member of the Dean’s List.

Matt is involved in the firm’s portfolio accounting and information technology efforts. Prior to joining Knightsbridge, he worked overseas as an English teacher in Taiwan. Matt earned his BA in economics, with a concentration in business administration, from the University of California, Berkeley. He currently serves on the finance committee at CrossLife Bible Church in Irvine, where he also leads the music ministry.

Outside Advisor
Dimitri N. Balatsos is an advisor to Knightsbridge and founder of Tesseract Partners, LLC. His professional career spans over 30 years and includes positions as Chief International Economist with Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Director of Global Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager with Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Director of Business Development and Senior Portfolio Manager with Lombard Odier & Cie, a large Swiss private bank. Currently, he is a member of the board of trustees for the Maine Public Employees Retirement System. He is the author of numerous articles on global financial markets and the world economy and has appeared frequently in featured interviews in Barron’s Magazine. He received his MA degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, where he also completed advanced work toward a PhD in economics and served as a Teaching Fellow. He earned his BA in economics from Knox College in Galesburg, IL.

Alan Beimfohr is an advisor to and a co-founder of Knightsbridge. He has over 35 years of investment experience. Prior to the 1998 founding of Knightsbridge, he co-founded Canterbury Capital Services where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that he was Vice President of Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc. where he worked for seventeen years. He received his BS in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University in 1966. From 1966 to 1972, he was employed by Caterpillar, Int. Alan is a former President of the Cornell Alumni Association of Southern California and former Chairman of the Board of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County. Additionally, he serves on the Advisory Council to the Cornell Financial Engineering Manhattan MFE program, and on the Investment Committee of the U.C. Irvine Foundation.
David Hirshleifer, PhD

David Hirshleifer, PhD is an advisor to Knightsbridge and the Merage Chair in Business Growth & Finance at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. He previously served as the Kurtz Chair in Finance at Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business, the Waterman Professor of Finance at the University of Michigan Business School and as a tenured faculty member at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. An expert in behavioral finance, and co-authored Price Theory and Applications: Decisions, Markets, and Information, now in its seventh edition. He has published more than 35 papers. Professor Hirshleifer received his PhD and MA in Economics from the University of Chicago and his BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
